Call for events for Programme 2016
04 / 09 / 2015The Welsh Government is currently working on Cymru’n Cofio Wales Remembers 1914-1918’s Programme 2016 and is appealing for events and images which could be featured in the publication.
Programme 2016 will be the latest in a series of annual publications which detail the First World War Centenary commemorative events taking place in Wales or further afield of Welsh interest. The annual programmes also contain in-depth articles about various commemorative projects past, present and future.

Events
Commemorative events are taking place across Wales and beyond. If you would like your event to be considered for publication in Programme 2016, please add it to our Programme website [http://www.walesremembers.org/events], by using the electronic form.
We would be grateful if you could add your 2016 events to the website by 1 December 2015 to allow time for submitted events to be considered and processed for Programme 2016.
Images
We would like to feature interesting images relating to the First World War in Programme 2016, especially those with a Welsh connection.
You will need to own the copyright of the images and be willing to provide the Welsh Government and People’s Collection Wales (which manages the Cymru’n Cofio Wales Remembers 1914 – 1918 website) permission to use your images. Images will only be used in the context of the First World War Centenary Programme and may be included in other publications or social media, with your permission. Please state any limitations or conditions that apply to the images that you submit. If available, please provide a brief description of the nature of the image. We are unable to provide financial reimbursement for the use of images. The image owner would be credited in the publication.
